University View Academy 7th-grader Anyalina Vertigan placed 1st in Algebra I for Division 1 at the recent Louisiana State Literary Rally held at LSU.
That’s pretty impressive for her since she was competing against 9th-graders. Anyalina competed against Division 1 district qualifiers from around the state. The Rally is an opportunity for students to showcase their academic and performance abilities in friendly competitions. There were more than 70 academic and performance events with multiple chances for students to compete. More than 4,000 students from more than 350 schools have participated in State Rally in recent years after advancing from their District Rally. Congratulations to Anyalina.
