DECA does it again! The Deca Club of University View Academy was honored as the largest chapter in Louisiana for the 2020-2021 school year. Plus, it was recognized as having the highest percentage increase in members. DECA is formally the Distributive Education Clubs of America. Its mission statement says DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. It facilitates the next generation to be academically prepared, community-oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders. In addition, UVA’s Mindy Rose was recognized as the Association Chapter Advisor of the year. Congratulations!
