A Great Effort in Bid for Music Video Award
University View Academy 12th grader Chaislyn Jane King of Baton Rouge fell short in her nomination for Best Video in the International Christian Film and Music Festival in Orlando, Florida. Chaislyn Jane is a singer-songwriter and actress in her first year at UVA. The video featuring the song, “Carole”, was inspired by her contact with children who have disabilities while working for “Be Our Guest Royal Princess Parties” in Prairieville. She dresses as Disney-themed princesses for birthday parties. The video featured a child with Downs Syndrome. Watch it by clicking this link.
Chaislyn Jane will sing in an upcoming movie called “Teen Musical, the Movie”, which will be filmed in the New Orleans area in June.
