Commemorating Success with Families, Friends, and Faculty
University View Academy juniors and seniors, members of the classes of 2026 and 2027, gathered at Hotel Bentley in Alexandria on Saturday, March 28, to receive their class rings. The ring ceremony served as a meaningful event on their path to success.
UVA students were joined by family, friends, teachers, and faculty at the event. Each student had their name called and was greeted on stage by UVA Superintendent, Dr. Quentina Timoll. Students were also joined on stage by their family members for a photo op.
“When my parents joined me on the stage, I felt proud,” UVA junior Demiana W. said. “I know they’ve put a lot of effort and hard work into pushing me to do my best in my classes.”
“My ring means to me that I’m getting ready for graduation,” UVA junior Samara A. noted. “It really shows all the dedication I put into my high school years. Overall, just a lot of excitement.”
Following the ceremony, attendees gathered for refreshments and food in the main lobby of Hotel Bentley. UVA students were able to attend a fun-filled dance later on in the evening at Hotel Bentley.
