UVA’s victories at the state level provide club members with the opportunity to compete at the national level. The National Beta State Convention offers competitions in various academic and STEM-based, virtual, and performing arts competitions. The Beta National Convention will be held at the Savannah International Convention Center in Savannah, GA this summer.

UVA Superintendent Dr. Quentina Timoll shared, “I am so proud of the work UVA BETA members brought to the state competition. I had the privilege to be in person to cheer for them in their different competitions. I am constantly amazed by their abilities, and I was honored to be there to celebrate their efforts. I know they will do great things at the national competition this summer.”

Beta Club is available in the elementary, junior, and senior divisions at University View Academy. The senior chapter has over 160 members and routinely hosts service projects around Louisiana throughout the school year.
