Ms. Chambers is a dedicated leader with a long history of public service. She takes great pride in exemplifying servant leadership and is committed to supporting educators at UVA to increase the academic achievement of Louisiana students.
Ms. Chambers began her career in healthcare before transitioning to education as an ELA teacher and content leader. She has been with University View Academy for six years in various administration roles, including assistant principal, associate principal, and principal.
Ms. Chambers holds a Bachelor of Science in healthcare administration with a minor in biology from Jackson State University and a Master of Public Administration from Louisiana State University. She completed her alternate route teacher certification at Alcorn State University and the Educational Leadership Certification Program through Advance Innovative Education. She also completed the National Institute for School Leadership Executive Development Program. Ms. Chambers is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at Louisiana State University.
Ms. Chambers is a proud mother of two children who are students in Louisiana public schools. When not immersed in her doctoral work, she enjoys reading and traveling.
