University View Academy (UVA) students in drama club, glee club, Talented Theatre, and Talented Music took center stage at the Lynx Den STEAM Center on Friday, May 1, for a collaborative evening of unforgettable performances.
Many students performed live at the Lynx Den while others submitted pre-recorded musical pieces for attendees to view. Performances ranged from poetry to cello pieces to energetic duets and lively solos that had the crowd clapping and singing along.
Glee club president and senior Joey Ragusa gave the final performance of the night, appearing in full costume as the Joker character from “Batman.” Lastly, graduating seniors from each organization represented were honored with a special sendoff. Sophomore Tori Ballard was named the next glee club president, and then students exited the stage to reunite with friends and family.
