Congratulations to UVA Alumna Daryanna Barrett for being awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Black Women in Film Network of Atlanta as she furthers her studies in college.
Daryanna is from New Orleans and graduated in 2020 after taking four years of talented art at UVA. She was also a frequent guest lecturer to Charlotte Collins’ Talented Art classes last year.
She now attends Loyola University in New Orleans as an art major.
