University View Academy students attended a Maker Space event at the Lynx Den STEAM Center on Wednesday (Oct. 22). Attendees had tons of fun at the event that featured making catapults and slime. Students were able to learn about force, energy, and Newton’s laws of motion.
The event was hosted by Nita Martin, UVA’s Innovation & Strategy Coordinator, and Araynna Owens, UVA’s Lynx Den intern. Maker Space events are hosted bi-weekly and more information can be found in Canvas for upcoming events.
