Accepting Applications for Fall 2025
New student applications will be accepted each year during the application period. UVA serves the entire state of Louisiana, and all Louisiana residents are eligible to apply during the application period. UVA is an open-enrollment school and does not test students to gain admission. UVA follows all Louisiana teaching standards and offers an environment geared to individualized and flexible learning.
Per La. R.S. 17:3991, if fewer eligible pupils have applied than is the maximum UVA can admit, then all eligible pupils shall be admitted, and additional pupils may apply and be admitted for the school year to which the application period applies until the maximum number is admitted.
