University View Academy is proud to announce Christina Holland (elementary school), Kyle Patterson (middle school), and Latrisha Franklin (high school) as the 2025-26 Teachers of the Year in their respective school levels. These educators have demonstrated excellence in teaching, commitment to UVA students, and a passion for learning.
Holland has taught at UVA for 12 years, and she currently teaches English Language Arts to 1st graders. She loves to listen to music, and if you are near, you very well might hear her singing along too.
Patterson is in year No. 5 at UVA. He teaches social studies to 6th graders. Patterson loves to travel and is an avid gardener.
Franklin teaches career and technical education to UVA high schoolers. She is in her second year with UVA, and she loves Cricut crafting. She makes t-shirts and all kinds of custom ideas with her crafts.
